Margaret Lee Morgan Author Spotlight
Storyteller of the Heart & Imagination
Discover worlds of emotion, strength, and hope through Margaret Lee Morgan‘s poems and novels.
Early Life
Having been born at 27 weeks’ premature as a baby, it’s fair to say Margaret Lee Morgan has gone through some ups and downs growing up. The love of poetry and writing became a means of reflection, allowing words to flow from the mind to the paper. Inspired by countless teachers (and Jill Murphy’s The Worst Witch Books), Morgan has recently started self-publishing her poetry, mainly on Amazon. Morgan has gone through spirals of physical and mental health with ups and downs, particularly as a teenager, but the one thing that was a true sense of escape was reading, music, and writing in many a notebook.
Adult Life
Since leaving school, Morgan has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Drama, during which she found herself writing and creating more than ever. After working as a cleaner and in retail, it took its toll. During this period, she discovered an opportunity not only to create notebooks and journals but also to build the confidence to publish her own poems.
