Jane Elson has Done it Again!

Last year I read “A Room Full of Chocolate” in less than twenty-four hours. While “Storm Horse” took me longer to read, it is up there on the same brilliant level.

Book’s front cover.

SPOILER!!!
I mean, seriously, I can picture this horse being led to the front of the stage. It makes total sense that animals can give people confidence, whether it’s a horse, a dog, a cat etc.

Jane Elson’s Storm Horse
Picture a London estate where many are struggling day-to-day. Parents can’t pay their bills or provide enough food, but Daniel Margate has four hooves of hope. Always getting letters in a jumble and numbers forever are changing, hope is granted through the spirit of the racehorse known as Seabiscuit. Armed with countless stories from a scrapbook and the mysterious appearance of another horse, Daniel finds he can help others and himself. There is the small matter of keeping the horse a secret amongst themselves; how hard can that be in the English capital?

I wish I had animals in school to help with my dyslexia. I struggle with sounds and sounding out words. Just typing this post, I tried to type “took”, but instead, I wrote “could.” Once again, when I typed “wrote,” I originally typed “wrong.” Do those words have similar sounds?

I just did it again; “does” instead of “those.”

Jane Elson gets the picture with Daniel Margate.
